Evan Lee

Chief Product & Technology Officer

Throughout his career, Evan Lee has worn many hats in the startup ecosystem—as a solo founder, co-founder, early joiner, consultant, and even a VC investor. He holds both an MBA (’20) and an MS in Computer Vision and Image Processing (’13) from Stanford, along with a BS in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Physics from USC (’11). With a background in research spanning Virtual Reality, Image Processing, and Applied Computer Vision, Evan has always been driven by a passion for creating and scaling from 0 to 1.

He has helped build startups from the ground up through acquisition, including at Body Labs, where he helped scale the team from about 10 people to acquisition by Amazon Core ML. Evan has also been part of hypergrowth at companies like Medallia, joining a bootstrapped team of 200 and helping it grow to 2,000 within a year, achieving unicorn status and heading toward an IPO.

With experience that includes founding companies, winding them down, building leadership teams, advising founders, and consulting on early-stage ventures, Evan has worked across every aspect of a business—from engineering and product to sales and strategy—holding roles from CTO to CEO.
